Kailey Gillam for School Trustee.
SD68 Nanaimo-Ladysmith Public Schools

I'm running for School Trustee because the decisions made in OUR schools matter to OUR kids, OUR families, OUR staff, and the community WE call HOME.

“Nanaimo has been my home for over 20 years. It’s where I’ve built my career, raised my family, formed lasting connections, and grown into the person I am today. I feel deeply connected to this community and I'm grateful to call it HOME.

What Matters Most

Every decision made by the Board of Education should begin with one question: How will this help students succeed?

My priorities are grounded in supporting students, supporting the people who care for and teach them, and building greater trust between schools, families, and our community.

Psychologically Safe & Supportive Schools
Proactive and Collaborative Problem Solving
Transparency and Accountability

On the Campaign Trail

Throughout the campaign, I’ll be out in the community attending local events, meeting families, staff, and community members, and listening to what matters most to you.

This page will share upcoming opportunities to connect with me in person, along with highlights, updates, and moments from the campaign journey.

I’m looking forward to meeting more people across our community, hearing your perspectives, and having meaningful conversations about our schools and the future we want to build together.
